A commemorative DVD of Gatecon: The Family Reunion will be available in 6 to 8 weeks.
We are awaiting final approval of Mr Anderson's footage from the convention, then production of the DVD will begin.
The DVD will be available here in the Gatecon store and is available to everyone, even if you weren't able to attend the convention.

We are going to redevelop the Gatecon website, and soon we will have special web content of never-seen-before footage from our conventions.
We will also re-release of all of our previous conventions on DVD including the previously unseen DVD from our 2005... footage that was thought to be totally lost.

To the GC 2008 attendees, Paul Brown & the Legends team, Captain Watson & the Sea Shepherds crew, the Shark Angels, Eric Cheng & company, all our other dealers, the team at the Sheraton Wall Centre, our volunteers, the Gatecon Staff and our beloved C3:
Gatecon 2008 is now over, but what a wonderful, fun and exciting time it was! As always it is the people who make an event, and over the years, Gatecon has been blessed with some of the most gracious, giving, and fun-loving attendees – and this year was no different. Time and time again I heard “this is a different feeling convention” and it is indeed all of the attendees who make it that way. So, thank you for coming!
To all our wonderful guests – both the scheduled ones, and the surprise drop-ins – thank you for sharing your time and weekend with us! Your stories, humor, energy, willingness to be photographed repeatedly and good graces are legendary and we were thrilled to see you all again or meet some of you for the first time. I had the privilege to meet most of you backstage throughout the weekend, and your smiles never faded. To the head of the Stargate family, Mr. Anderson: your attendance made this year’s event unique and special and one that will be long remembered with joy and smiles by all of us fortunate enough to attend. And the look on Captain Watson’s face, and those of his crew from Sea Shepherd as they watched the auction and realized how much money was being raised for their organization made it all worthwhile.
To the team at Legends and Paul Brown: You are grace personified! Thank you for your generous time and efforts and a wonderful dealer room full of fun things to gawk at and purchase! (And a personal thank you for all you did to help me, and my team too!)
To Ozzie, Glen and Jon: You were the epitome of professionalism and an incredible help to me and the Gatecon staff! Thank you for your reassuring presence. Chocolate and scotch are yours at any time! J
To Ainsley, Sean, Sasha, Dan, Daniel, Paul and the entire Sheraton staff – you are absolutely wonderful. You helped us plan this event for more than a year, and anticipated every one of our wants & needs before we could articulate them! Your dedication, smiles and assistance will go down in Gatecon history! You are the Best!
To our incredible volunteers, thank you! Events like Gatecon take months/years of planning behind the scenes, but then need hundreds of man-hours at the event itself to execute the Con, and as usual, you all came through. Never have ‘red-shirts’ been less ‘disposable’!! Without all of your volunteering, Gatecon would not have been pulled off! So thank you. To my Guest Services team in particular – you ROCKED! Thank you seems so very inadequate!
To my fellow GC staff members – you are simply the best and it’s a joy to work with you all – in person and long-distance!
And finally to our beloved C3 – Fryn, Allan and Richard – you started with a dream 12 years ago, and have made 9 ‘reunions’ a reality now for so very many people from every corner of the globe. More than that, your efforts have allowed friendships (and at least one marriage!) to bloom between people who otherwise would never have met, and that is your greatest, and longest lasting, legacy! You have personally changed the face of fan conventions world-wide and donated record amounts of money to a number of charities. I consider it a deep and abiding honor to call each of you friend, to have been welcomed into your homes and hearts, and to work with you on this project we call Gatecon. I love you all.
And if you decide to do this again, you know I’ll be right beside you all!
