Hi!
I'm from New Hampshire. Went to a Stargate convention years ago and had such a great time. I made lifelong friends that I can not imagine my life without them in it. Just re-gated Atlantis and it made me want to connect with more Stargate fans again.

This will be my first time visiting Vancouver and I am quite excited, there's so much to do. Thinking of hiking before the con, maybe around Lake Garibaldi for a night or two, probably some sightseeing on the island and definitely exploring downtown. Will there be a FB group or someother way to connect? Wishing everyone the best!

Hi everyone - I'm Barbara and this will be my second GateCon. (The first was the 2016 convention, also in Vancouver.) I'm from South Carolina, USA and am planning to stay in Vancouver for a week and do a little more exploring. Last time was a lot of fun and I can't wait for this one.

My name is Michelle, and I hail from Adelaide, South Australia. This will be my first Gatecon, and will also mark my second visit to beautiful Vancouver! Have been attending conventions since 2010, Amanda Tapping being the first actress i'd ever met.

Looking forward to seeing you all! I already know of friends who will be there, but also looking forward to meeting new people!

My name is Serenity, i’m 23 this will be my second gatecon (first being 2016),

Part of my family will be going (my Dad, Mom and one of my sisters) we will be coming from Nebraska, so if u see a family of 4 and one is jumping up and down like a crazy person, with wide eyes and head is bouncing all over the place thats me, i would love to meet everyone so don’t be afraid to approch  ;Dg

Just gonna reintroduce myself I think. I almost went to Gatecon 2016, but life had a few emergencies to throw my way.

My name is Jenny and I’m from Washington State and absolutely love Vancouver, BC. I attended the last Stargate Convention that Creation did in Chicago and this past April attended AT10 in London having the time of my life. I’m definitely ready to be around fellow Gaters again!

Reintroduce myself...

Names Nikki, I'm 27 and have loved Stargate for as long as I knew it was around.... I live in Florida in the USA and it is hot, hot, hot....

This will be my first convention ever and my first Stargate event I go to, *Gasp* I know that rock I lived under finally got picked up and moved lol.

I WILL be going to the banquet, YAY!

Anyone else going to be from Florida?

Hi all! I'm Jason, and I currently reside in Seattle, WA. Hello, my neighbors to the North! I was first introduced to Stargate when my grandmother took me to go see the movie as a 12 yr old boy. That was the last time I got to see a movie with her before she passed, so it's special to me for that. It was maybe the loudest movie I had ever seen up to that point and she thought they should have turned it up. :-P

I started watching the series about 5 or 6 years ago, as something to put on while I draw/paint, not really paying too much attention to the first two seasons. Something clicked and I got really hooked, pencil no longer moving and mouth agape.

Not only did it become one of my favorite shows, but it also helped me through a lot of difficult times. It took me maybe 4 years to get through all 10 seasons of sg-1 + the movies, but I made it! haha. I still haven't seen all of the Origins series but I'm looking forward to diving into the re-cut. Waiting just to watch a 15 minute 'clip' was a quick way for me to lose interest.

My name is Madison. I am attending my first Gatecon with much excitement. I hail from Knoxville TN and this will also be my first trip to Canada. I can't wait to experience this event! I am going solo and hope to meet some friends along the way
