Sounds very interesting; I would love to go on a '3 hour tour'.  ;)

Is there a limited number of tickets for the cruise?

There better be or the boat will sink!  😂😉

Sorry it's getting late! I think I should go to bed! ☺

lol, if we get enough people signing up for it we will get a boat all to ourselves. If we don't meet the target required by the cruise company we will have to share with other sightseers, though you have to feel sorry for them!!!

Richard, Do you already have a cruise line in mind, and what is the minimum limit we need to get the boat to ourselves?

I've just added a quick poll regarding the Harbour Cruise and methods of getting to and from the ship.

If we opt to go with the round trip coaches then that will be built into the price of the ticket for everyone. There would be no cheaper tickets for anyone wanting to make their own way there.

Personally I think it will be a more relaxing experience if you know you have transport laid on.

There will also be food included in the ticket price and I'm aiming to get a final price ready for you in the next week.

For now though I'd appreciate your input on the transportation question.
Thanks

I think it will depend on how many want to go, hence on how many people we can divide the costs for the coaches...

If it's a matter of 10/15 CAD to add to the price of the ticket for the Harbour Cruise then I think it would be worth having a safe transportation to/back... If it's more than that we have the Skytrain (if I remember correctly) that takes you there and back for like 8 CAD...

EDIT: Haven't read the entire pull description (as usual) sorry...

Definitely think that a 'round trip' is the way to go!

Just one thing to bear in mind if voting for making your own way there - the boat will not be able to wait for latecomers as the departure time will be exactly that. Boarding will be available up to one hour ahead of departure though.

I voted for making my own way there and back, but only because I didn't know the price of the cruise by itself. Any guesstimate on what that might be?

Me too, since we don't know the tour company or ticket prices. I also want to know about ticket discounts since one company does offer a discount.

I'd rather wait til I have the exact price sorted out. Should have that within the next week.

What are they offering a discount for? A group booking? Are they offering exclusive use of the ship?
Any price I present will be inclusive of any group booking discount.

there's a discount on ticket price for seniors. I was looking at individual ticket prices if I booked separately.
