Judging by the grass I think they were a little over-indulgent with the contrast filter in Photoshop, but the gardens are still well worth a visit

lol!  I was thinking the same thing.

And I couldn't tell if they'd gone a little wacky with the 'blur' tool or just set an awkwardly long exposure to eliminated faces.

My friend and I went here in 2010 prior to MTM.  It is absolutely gorgeous!!  I can't wait to go back.

I hate gardens, but I really want to go because I know it would have been something that my nana would have loved and wanted pictures of, so I thought why not!!!
Here's hoping I don't sneeze much haha!!!!

Finally getting a itinerary of what we may want to do while in Vancouver together and Victoria and Butchart Gardens may happen on the 14th. Thanks for getting this discount for us! Will be much appreciated once we're there and begin to see how far our hard-saved funds go. :P

Just want to reiterate their costume policy, as a couple local to me who dress in Victorian attire on a daily basis in their lives, were not allowed to visit the gardens because their clothing was seen as costumes. So they are VERY strict on this!

Butchart Gardens is a healthy place to visit. Walking around in the sunken garden inhaling all that fresh oxygen from the various plants to cleanse the lungs.
