I run a forum myself - and it can be fun sometimes to come up with different names for the "ranks" as people make more posts.

I actually belonged to a forum once that had the differing 'rank' titles, but didn't have post counts visible to keep people from churning out random posts of nonsense or nothing just to achieve post-count.  It was a *little* nerve-wracking if you're one of those ppl who likes to use post-count as a visual of accomplishment. =)

even better - i think that forum had the post-counts for leveling up at odd numbers like 43 and 112 and such. =)
