Hi Oleander!
Thanks for the offer but tomorrow I can't join you... How about this: I'm going with few people (also attending the con) at Capilano Brige, we meet up at the Sheraton's starbuks foyer at 11 AM, would you like to come with us? The more the merrier!!
If you can't or don't want to join the trip, I'll also be at starbuck at 10 AM because I'm meeting with the sweet Atlantia, join us for coffee before you leave for downtown!!!

Geez, I need 32 hours per day to keep up with everything...
So here are my cocktails:
- "Blood of Sokar"
3 cl. of Bitter (Martini if aviable)
3 cl. of red vermouth (Martini or Cinzano are fine)
a spray of soda
Mix all together and serve with ice and slice of orange
- "Going off-world"
4 cl. of vodka (not flavored)
2 cl. of triple sec
2 cl. of midori
4 cl. of pineapple juice
Put all the ingredients in a shaker, shake and serve with a slice of pineapple
- "Jack and Sam" these are two shots, which can be drunk together (reccomended) or as stand alone
For Jack: 2 parts of dark chocolate cream
3 parts of vodka (not flavored)
1 part of milk cream
pour the vodka and chocolate cream in the shot glass and add on top the milk cream previously whipped
For Sam: 2 parts of Sambuca
2 parts of blue curacao
1 part of mint flavored syrup
pour the Sambuca in a shot glass, add mint syrup, and pour the blue curacao using a tea spoon upside down (pour the curacao on the upside down spoon so not to mix with the sambuca)
Hope you'll like'em!

So far, there's been no word of a video competition. There were some legal questions that had to be answered and there's also the time consideration. There's already a lot on the table for the weekend, so they may not be able to squeeze in another contest.
But - things can change.
I am not one of the con organizers, just a long time visitor. =) (also, i'm around at times when Richard is asleep *g*)
It's okay, no problem at all, I was just wondering if I should get started or not. And you're right there are already a lot of activities planned, we sure won't get bored!!!

This is going from bad t worse...
I'm not upset at Gatecon staff, they're doing a great job, but darn there was a reason for the ticket's price to be so high and now almost all the main guests are no longer coming...

Yes, I feel the same. I've never been to a stargate convention, and all of this played a big part in why I booked the trip. Man, this sucks... I may not have scheduled the event had I known this.
I hear you, believe me I do... I'm still praying for a miracle and maybe they can show up last minute, or change schedule or something
