I believe it usually sells out, some photo ops do have the ability to prepay, but you can just pay for them at the con if you don't want to but it all at once, which I totally understand!

The 27th is registration and they do a meet and greet with attendees and some guests usually show up to mingle that evening. The 30th is usually the filming location bus tour, which is an add on cost

I was supposed to stay with a friend, bit now she isn't responding. I'm waiting to hear back from another friend. I don't have a ton of money for a room, I'll be there the 13-16. I'm looking into Airbnbs in the area as a last resort, trying to stay under $100usd for 3 nights. If anyone has any availability in that range for those dates, let me know. I'm 35, quiet, don't drink or smoke, and I just need somewhere to sleep, get ready, and park my car when I'm not at the con.

I'm driving up Seattle also, but Thursday morning, we should definitely meet up over the weekend!

I'm driving up from Seattle on Thursday evening, the 13th and was a little confused about whether there was an official meetup that evening. Also I'm not sure when the opening ceremonies are the next day!

The Sheraton let me know they will be providing on site parking to attendees free of charge this year! Last year it was $10CAD per day

I'm so excited! I've gotten my roommate into SG-1 and he's ready to cosplay as Daniel Jackson while I cosplay O'Neill! This con is still so far away but I am so excited for it and I know it's going to be so awesome when it's time! Can't wait to see more celeb confirmations in the future.

They confirmed at the end of the con that there will be a Gatecon in 2017, at the Sheraton again. But that's all we've got so far. The organizers are taking some time off before planning begins for next year.
