Told my mum she is going on the cruise..
her face went really pale...
this could be amusing :/! Probably should have asked her if she wanted to go on it first haha!!!

This is a part I am really looking forward to, I only got over my fear of open water about 3 months ago, this is gonna be a true test!! Bring it on!

HI ALL, IVE JUST BEEN ADDED TO THE HARBOUR CRUISE.

BIT CONFUSED, HAVE WE GOT TO FIND OUR OWN WAY THERE OR IS THERE A BUS SHUTTLE TO THE WATERFRONT, IF WE HAVE TO FIND OUR OWN WAY THERE, I AM WONDERING IF I CAN TRAVEL WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS GOING AS I HAVE A TERRIBLE SENSE OF DIRECTION AND AM BRITISH TOO.

ANY OFFERS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THANK YOU

JANET

Hello Janet:
I am Barbara.  As far as I know there should be transportation.  If not I will have rental car, and I would be glad to give you a ride if needed.  I will be arriving at the hotel the evening of the 7th.  As we get closer, I will PM my information to you, my cell phone, ect.

We can now reveal the item that every person going on the harbour cruise will receive exclusively. Actually no wait, let's make that items.

We decided to create two additional items with the orca design, so if you are booked onto the cruise you will be given our special Orca Key Chain and Orca Pin. Remember these will not be made available outside of the cruise, and are giveaways, not for sale.

If you have already purchased the Orca Patch you are on your way to the complete set! We have managed to extend the deadline for the Orca Patch by a couple of days, so if you are going on the cruise and do want to collect the complete set, this is your last chance to grab the patch. Pre-sales for the patch will end on Friday 15th July. Please note the extension only applies to the cruise patch, not the rest of the merchandise range. To order the patch between now and Friday please email stef.rogers@gatecon.com

If I had known that, I wouldn't have ordered the other keychain. I like the cruise one better  :)

HI ALL, I AM ON THE HARBOUR CRUISE BUT REGISTRATION IS ON THE SAME DAY AND DON'T WANT TO MISS GETTING MY GOODY BAG AND BADGE ETC.  AM I RIGHT IN THINKING THERE IS A LINE JUST FOR THE CRUISE PEOPLE AS I DO'T WANT TO MISS OUT?

WHAT TIME IS THE CRUISE AS WELL AND CAN I REGISTER BEFORE IT STARTS?

THANKS

JANET

There will be a separate registration line for cruise-goers.  Since you have to have a Gatecon pass to go on the cruise.

(also, please keep in mind standard web etiquette that 'all caps' is seen as shouting and people may think you are yelling at them.)

Richard has also now posted the preliminary (subject to change b/c that's how we roll) itinerary here: http://www.gatecon.com/forum/index.php?topic=353.0

Registration opens at 8am on Thursday.  The buses for the cruise leave around 11am.

It will be set up for the cruise-going folks to register first, or all in one line (there will be several lines most likely) to get them through as quickly as possible.

However, it is very likely the buses will leave on time, so you will want to get down to the registration tables early enough to get registered and whatever else you may need to do before the buses leave.
