The future MacGyver and Stargate SG-1 star was born and grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis called Roseville. During his childhood and teenage years, he developed a love for sports, music (especially jazz) and acting.

Richard dreamed of becoming a professional hockey player as a teenager, a dream shared by his future Stargate SG-1 co-star Michael Shanks. However, this was not to be as, at age sixteen, he broke both of his arms in separate incidents, the second of which was so bad that he had to be hospitalized for three months. Although his dream became an impossibility, he never lost his love for the sport. Richard was very much a restless teenager, having had many adventures hitchhiking on the open road. This sense of adventure is most evident from his 5,641-mile bicycle trip from his home in Minnesota to Alaska. Though accompanied by several friends at the beginning of this trip, he traveled the last thirty-three days alone. This experience gave him a more centered sense of direction in his life.

After studying drama at St. Cloud State University and at Ohio University (without completing his degree), he briefly moved to New York before settling in Los Angeles, where he worked as a juggler and a street mime and in a Renaissance-style cabaret. He worked briefly in Marineland, where his jobs included holding fish in his mouth for killer whales to leap up and snatch. Subsequently, he appeared in plays and formed a rock band called Rick Dean and the Dante with his friend Carl Dante in which he sang and played the guitar.

His big break came in 1976, when he was cast in the popular daytime drama "General Hospital" as Dr. Jeff Webber. He continued to play the role for five years until he felt it was time to move on to prime-time drama. He made numerous guest appearances in series such as "The Facts of Life" (1979) and The Love Boat (1977) and was cast as the star in two CBS series, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1982) and Emerald Point N.A.S. (1983), but both lasted just one season.

His next big success came in 1985, when he won the role as the title character in the ABC adventure series MacGyver (1985). He was cast because the producers were impressed by the lack of pretension he showed at his audition. As he is nearsighted, it was necessary for him to wear his glasses for the reading. The series lasted seven seasons and ran for 139 episodes. It was hugely successful throughout its run and has continued to be popular all over the world. He reprised his role in two TV movies, MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis (1994) (TV) and MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday (1994) (TV), both produced by his own production company, Gekko Film Corp, which he co-founded with Michael Greenburg.

Having made a huge impression in Ordinary Heroes (1986) as a blinded Vietnam veteran struggling to rebuild his life in America, after MacGyver ended he moved on to TV movies such as In the Eyes of a Stranger (1992) (TV), Through the Eyes of a Killer (1992) (TV), Beyond Betrayal (1994) (TV), Past the Bleachers (1995) (TV) and Pandora's Clock (1996) (TV). He was particularly impressive in Past the Bleachers (1995) (TV), in which he played a grieving father struggling to come to terms with his young son's death.

He returned to series television in 1995, when he was cast as Ernest Pratt/Nicodemus Legend in Legend[ (1995), an adventure series that aired on UPN. He also served as executive producer of the series, in which one of his co-stars was his close friend John de Lancie. His character was a dime novelist (Pratt) who took on the persona of the protagonist in his novels (Legend). The series was primarily a comedy, a blend of the western and science fiction. It has also been Richard's favorite role to date.

He found major success again when cast as Colonel (later Brigadier General) Jack O'Neill in Stargate SG-1 (1997), an adventure/science fiction series based on the blockbuster film Stargate (1994) starring Kurt Russell and James Spader. The series began filming in Vancouver on February 19, 1997, and premiered on Showtime on July 27, 1997. The series has remained extremely successful since then, eventually resulting in the creation of a spin-off series, Stargate: Atlantis in 2004, and the now-cancelled video game Stargate SG-1: The Alliance in 2005. Both series have aired on the Sci-Fi Channel. He has also appeared, sporadically, in the latest spin-off series, SGU Stargate Universe (2009). Richard's role in the SG-1 series was substantially reduced in its seventh and eighth seasons, which culminated in his departure from the series in 2005.

Paul Franklin Watson (born December 2, 1950) is a marine wildlife conservation and an environmental activist, who founded the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, an anti-poaching and direct action group focused on marine conservation. He is a citizen of Canada and the United States.

The Toronto native joined a Sierra Club protest against nuclear testing in 1969. He was an early and influential member of Greenpeace, crewed and skippered for it, and a founding board member in 1972. He has been credited by The New York Times, The New Yorker and other publications with being a founder of Greenpeace, but Greenpeace denies the claim. However the recent release of the film How to Change the World (film) by Producer Jerry Rathwell documents that Watson was indeed one of the original founding members of Greenpeace. Watson argued for a strategy of direct action that conflicted with the Greenpeace interpretation of nonviolence, was ousted from the board in 1977, and subsequently left the organization. That same year, he formed Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. The group is the subject of a reality show named Whale Wars.

Feeling like something of an old timer amongst the fresh young faces, I am aged 43 years, from North Vancouver, Canada.

A ship manager for The Brigitte Bardot, I’m now aboard The Bob Barker this year, as a diver, quartermaster, and one of the two photographers.

I still continue to feel the pull of the oceans upon me, and my love for life beneath the waves; I’m feeling a little melancholy at the start of what is now almost four years in and my ninth campaign with Sea Shepherd.

Reflecting back it has been quite the privilege, the adventure and the opportunity to get off the couch and into the thick of direct action and making a difference around the world.

With the passing of my father just two weeks before departing for Australia, my perspective on life has made me look even harder into myself and the world around me.

With my background in media I hope my photographs this coming campaign will speak for themselves, to engage, inform and hopefully inspire others to follow one’s passions and not accept the status quo. Life is for living, respecting! You never know how much time you have on this fragile rock called Earth and its fragile inhabitants are constantly under threat from the human locust.

It’s difficult to imagine that Tony’s simple dream 28 years ago to “work as an actor” would take him to Mexico, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, England, Bulgaria, Canada, across the United States and even to the stage of the new Disney Concert Hall.

Born in New Haven Connecticut into a blue-collar family, Tony was the first member of his family to attend college.  He grew up on the East Coast before his work took him throughout the world.

He spent the first 12 years almost exclusively in the theatre appearing Off-Broadway in an acclaimed production of “Filumena” and in leading roles on the stages of America’s top regional theatres, including the Mark Taper Forum,
American Conservatory Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, La Jolla Playhouse and the Old Globe. (Theatrical credits include Cyrano, Iago, Uncle Vanya, Cassius, Malvolio, Petruchio, Antony, Shely, Levine, Teach, and Jack Henry Abbot in “In the Belly of the Beast”.)Hoping to expand his craft and career, Tony moved to Los Angeles to seek work in film and television.

His film work as been varied and rewarding, including appearances opposite Johnny Depp in Ted Demme’s Blow, Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas in Martin Campbell’s The Mask of Zorro, Chris Cooper in John Sayles’s Lone Star.  His TV guest star roles include “West Wing”, multiple episodes on “The Practice”, “Judging Amy”, “Robbery Homicide Division”, “X-Files”, and a long running role on “Stargate SG-1” as Master Bra-Tac (a Jaffa Obi-Wan).

The past 18 months have been productive and Tony has four films awaiting release, including Dragon Slayer opposite John Rhys Davis, Club Dread with Bill Paxton, Shade with Gabriel Byrne and Sylvester Stallone, and a wonderful part as a blind sorcerer in Forbidden Warrior directed by Jimmy Nickerson.

Tony has a passion for studying languages, currently struggling to attain fluency in Italian and Spanish.  He avidly practices yoga, loves to cook and lives in Silver Lake with his wife Judith.

And, oh yes-he was thrilled to appear at the new Disney Hall in their premiere
First Night series for Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.

Argenziano was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the son of Elizabeth Stella (née Falvo) and Joseph Guy Argenziano, who was a restaurateur. He has three children: two boys, Tony and Joseph Argenziano, and one step daughter.

One of Argenziano's best-known roles is as the recurring character Jacob Carter/Selmak in the television series Stargate SG-1. He is also a lifetime member of the Actors Studio and was awarded the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award for his performance as Jack Delasante in Thomas Babe's A Prayer for My Daughter. Argenziano is often cast as overbearing authority figures. He was cast in 2007 as one of the potential fellowship candidates in House M.D.—albeit as a fake doctor—but was eliminated. He guest-starred in 2009 in Criminal Minds, in the season 4 episode "Demonology" where he portrayed Father Paul Silvano, an insane priest carrying out illegal exorcisms which he believed were happening as a result of God's will.

Avari is known for his roles in such films as Stargate, Flight of the Living Dead (2007), The Mummy, Daredevil, Home Alone 4, Planet of the Apes, and Mr. Deeds. He is one of only two actors, along with Alexis Cruz, to appear in both the original Stargate movie and the spin-off series Stargate SG-1 (three episodes). Before arriving in Los Angeles in 1991, his extensive work onstage garnered him praise from theater critics across America, most notably as Vasquez, in 'Tis Pity She's a Whore with Val Kilmer at the Joseph Papp Public Theater, and as Sir Richard at The Guthrie Theater's memorable production of The Screens.

He has made guest appearances on Castle, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Heroes, Hope & Faith, Law & Order, Burn Notice, Lie to Me, Party Down, Star Trek: The Next Generation, seaQuest DSV, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Enterprise, The West Wing, The X-Files, Dharma & Greg, Babylon 5, Alias, The O.C., The Sarah Silverman Program, Leverage, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Covert Affairs, and Human Target. In the video game Zork Grand Inquisitor, he played Grand Inquisitor Mir Yannick, a ruthless dictator who serves as the game's main villain. He also appeared in The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines.

Beginning in the autumn of 2006, a photograph of Avari and a recording of his voice have been used in the role of Chandra Suresh in Heroes. He did not appear onscreen until the episode "Seven Minutes to Midnight", as his character is part of the backstory and had died before the events of the pilot. When his character does appear, it is only in flashbacks until the episode "Six Months Ago", when the story centers on six months before the events of the pilot episode. In this episode, Suresh moves to New York and contacts people on "the list" he generated of those he believes to have special genetic aberrations.

Over the course of his career, Avari has portrayed representatives of more than 24 ethnicities.[2] As of November 2006, he has appeared in 33 feature films and over 70 television episodes. Avari has appeared with Brent Spiner in four different productions: Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), Independence Day (1996), The Master of Disguise, and Home Alone 4 (2002). He performed opposite Richard Gere in a drama film based on a true story: Hachi: A Dog's Tale, in which he played Jasjeet, an Indian hot dog vendor.

Avari was scheduled to reprise in his role as Kasuf in the Stargate SG-1 Season Six finale "Full Circle", but was unable to do so due to his commitment to Dragnet (2003).

In January 2009, he played a cell phone salesman in Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and in October 2009, he was cast as Omar on Days of Our Lives.

In 2014, Avari voiced Master Rahool in the science fiction video game Destiny.

A leading man who is just as comfortable playing scary villains or comic sidekicks, Steve Bacic has gone from strength to strength culminating into a half-decade of non-stop work. Shortly after he moved from his home town of Windsor, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia, he landed a guest-starring role on the TV series 21 Jump Street (1987) -- the biggest part ever given a Canadian on the show at that time.

Multiple episodes of Street Justice (1991), M.A.N.T.I.S. (1994), The Commish (1991), Highlander (1992), Viper(1996) and The Marshal (1995) followed, along with important parts on The Outer Limits(1995), The X-Files (1993), Millennium (1996), Andromeda (2000) and a recurring role on the short-lived but critically lauded Profit (1996). But it's in longer-form efforts such asShe Stood Alone: The Tailhook Scandal (1995), Another Stakeout (1993) and Hardball(1997) (a.k.a. Bounty Hunters II) that Bacic has really been able to spread his wings. Admittedly an "instinct" player, he has been happy to learn the ropes from international stars like Gerald McRaney, Rosie O'Donnell and veteran Tony Curtis.

Bacic regards one of his most unique professional experiences to-date as being the time he looked around the room while filming Another Stakeout (1993) and realized that he was alone with Rosie O'Donnell, Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez, the director (John Badham), the writer, and the producer.

Bailly is most often recognized from her recurring role on Showtime's The L Word. She appeared as Grace, the intern for OurChart who develops a love relationship with the transgender character Max Sweeney in the fourth and fifth seasons.

Bailly played Shona in the Battlestar Galactica series finale ("Daybreak").

On Smallville, Bailly guest-starred as Star, the potion peddler in the Valentine's Day episode, "Crimson" (season six).

Gamers may also recognize Bailly as the sexy cop in the EA video game Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

As Constable Jan Ferris on Da Vinci's City Hall aka Da Vinci's Inquest, Bailly played the leader of a gang of renegade cops. In preparation for the role, Bailly rode with police officers to some of the toughest areas in the city, witnessing first-hand the many dangers and realities of being a cop. She also had additional tactical training and learned how to handle firearms and other devices that go with the job. On Da Vinci's Inquest, her performance so won over the writers a one-episode part evolved into a multiple-episode arc and finally a regular role

Managing Director, Sea Shepherd Australia

Jeff Hansen joined Sea Shepherd (SS) in 2006 as a ground support volunteer in the Perth and his passion for marine conservation was quickly noticed.

Mika McKinnon is the real-life scientist from the sets of Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universe, earning the title Rocket Surgeon for her scrawling equations.

On the sets of Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universe, Mika McKinnon was variously called Astrophysicist, Mathematics Technician, and Scientist until eventually earning the title Rocket Surgeon. She’s the real-life scientist behind the scrawling equations on behalf of the great Dr. Rodney McKay, and the endless plausible phenomena threatening the hapless starship Destiny.

She continues to gleefully interject truth to create far stranger fiction for projects still within the veil of not-yet-aired secrecy. When not lurking on set of the latest crossover between science and fiction, Mika writes about science for Physics Today, io9, Gizmodo, and New Scientist, or she tromps through the mud with high-voltage geophysical equipment scaring bears.

She will be attending the convention on the Sunday and will have a table set up in the foyer where you can go and chat with her before or after getting your autographs in the main ballroom (Mika will be happy to sign autos too of course).

Nemec was inspired to become an actor after watching the children's film The Goonies at the age of 13, for which his father had done the art direction. He also cites his parents' artistic professions as a major influence, and that acting "seemed the right thing to do".

Nemec began training with the Centre Stage LA theatre company and signed on with an agent after performing in one of their talent showcases. He was booked for several commercials such as Suzuki and eventually landed a guest-spot on the TV show Sidekicks starring Ernie Reyes, Jr., with whom Nemec is still friends today. His first major film role was Tucker: The Man and His Dream in 1988. He appeared in several TV shows, earning an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Steven Stayner in the television film I Know My First Name Is Steven.

He starred alongside with legendary actors Jack Palance, Peter Boyle and Charlton Heston in the 1990 feature film Solar Crisis.

Nemec played the lead in the TV series Parker Lewis Can't Lose from 1990 to 1993. Also, in 1993, Nemec was cast as Harold Lauder in a TV adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand. In 1997, he played a notable role in the movie Goodbye, America. He also starred in the TV movies My Brother's Keeper alongside Jeanne Tripplehorn and "Blackout" with Jane Seymour. Nemec has made appearances on several TV shows, including Tales from the Crypt, Smallville, CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, Supernatural, and Ghost Whisperer. He also portrayed the serial killers Richard Speck and Ted Bundy. He played leading parts in some original Sci Fi Channel (United States) made TV-movies as Sea Beast, Mansquito, SS Doomtrooper, and "Dragon Wasps".

During the 1990s, Nemec had a brief foray into hip-hop,[4] recording an entire album with the group Starship of Foolz (one of the members was Shane Mooney, the son of comedian Paul Mooney), developed by Matt Robinson and Dedra Tate, and produced by actor Balthazar Getty. He produced a new comic series starring Paul Mooney (comedian) as the president of the United States. He also appeared in the music video Beer for My Horses by Toby Keith and Willie Nelson.

From 2002 to 2004, he appeared as Jonas Quinn on Stargate SG-1, temporarily replacing Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson) in the line-up of the SG-1 team.

In January 2013, while working on the film "Poseidon Rex", Nemec was involved in a boating accident in which, while being transported to set, the Belizean Coast Guard ran into a semi-submerged barge. His leg was shattered and he required multiple blood transfusions to save his life.

In 1982, after serving his two-year term in the air force, he landed a job teaching windsurfing and waterskiing at a resort hotel. As fate would have it, a stage show was in production at the resort and Simon was informed by one of the performers that the choreographer was looking for a gymnast. Simon somehow knew that this was going to be the first step towards a career on stage. Simon subsequently performed all over the world in various stage productions as a dancer/acrobat, culminating in his dream role as a performer at the world famous Moulin Rouge, Paris, in 1989.

On his return to South Africa, Simon pursued his stage career as an actor. Whilst studying drama, Simon secured himself a modelling agent and enjoyed success in ramp, print and television commercials. Simon received recognition as a model in South Africa and was asked to enter the Mr. South Africa talent and action man competition. On winning this competition in 1992, Simon was offered an audition on a successful television series, Egoli: Place of Gold. After guest starring on the show for three months, he accepted a permanent contract for a lead role in the show, which he continued for six years.

David Winning (born May 8, 1961) is a Canadian and American dual Citizen film and television director, screenwriter, producer, editor, and occasional actor. Although Winning has worked in numerous film and TV genres, his name is most commonly associated with science fiction, thrillers and drama.

Winning was born in Calgary, Alberta.[1] He became a dual citizen of the US and Canada in 2003 and lives in Los Angeles. He was making films at age ten with a Super 8 camera. In 1979, he received a Canada Council grant to make the sixteen millimeter drama Sequence,[2] and expanded the plotline into his first feature film Storm, filmed in the summer of 1983 in Bragg Creek, Alberta. It was shot with money that his father had set aside for film school and was screened at Cannes.[1] It took four years to finish and was released by Golan-Globus' Cannon Films International and Warner Home Video in 1988. A December 11, 1989 LA Times review called the film "taut, ambitious and darkly comic".[3]

At 27, he directed episodes of Friday the 13th: The Series for Paramount and received three Gemini Award nominations.[4] His second feature Killer Image followed in 1992; the mystery-thriller starred Michael Ironside and M. Emmet Walsh. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s he directed 17 movies and episodes of twenty-seven series, including Stargate: Atlantis,[5] ABC's Dinotopia filmed in Budapest, Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and four seasons on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda.[6] He directed Kim Cattrall, Sean Young, and Eric McCormack in the award-winning thriller Exception to the Rule. His biggest budget studio movie to date is the $29-million kids sci-fi action sequel Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie for 20th Century Fox.[7] He directed seven episodes of the Cannell police series Street Justice with Carl Weathers.[8][self-published source?] Winning said “Episodic TV gets no respect” in a March 2000 Toronto Star interview.[9] He directed a 16-year-old Ryan Gosling in the Pilot and seven episodes of the Paramount UPN kid series Breaker High.

According to the February 2010 Avatar issue of Sci Fi Magazine, he was slated to direct the movie Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage with Patrick Stewart.[10] He directed episodes of Space Channel's comedy/horror series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil and Lost Girl[1] for SYFY Channel and Showcase—and supervised and directed the far north webisode series YUKONIC online in 2011. Bruce's close association with both SG-1 and Atlantis also included several cameo appearances in both shows over the years, as well as accompanying the SG-1 cast and crew to the arctic in 2007 for the filming of the Stargate SG-1 movie, Continuum. In addition to the Stargate franchise, Bruce has also created visual effects for such television series as Smallville, The Outer Limits, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda and The Guard.

Bruce's latest work could be seen this summer in the action thriller, San Andreas, starring Dwayne Johnson for Warner Bros. and the revisiting of the comedy classic, Vacation, starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate.

Bruce is a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Visual Effects Society, and the Academy of Canadian Film and Television. Bruce graduated with Honors from the Radio and Television Arts program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), in Edmonton, Canada. Difficult to put an estimate on that as we will need to speak with each guest. Chances are we will start adding them in as we go rather than waiting until we have them all in hand.

I'll start a thread here with a list of names and prices.
