I love seeing Colin Cunningham. Thr tricks that he does, his humour and energy are great. 😀

Keep you eyes peeled for an exciting announcement re Colin in the next week or so

Waiting EXTRA patiently... Looks around, Soo in the whole "in the next week or so" idea is that in the next week cause it's basically been a week or should I look more at the "or so" part? 😆

Haha... I came on to ask the same thing! Great minds and all that....

Yay great minds! Mine is pretty great when it works! :D

The CAD is stronger than the US dollar right now. Wonder how long that will last..?

I think it'll last for a while, not sure really if it'll get better (US $ --> Can) but right now it's been pretty darn good for over 2 years.

Usually hotels are happy to exchange currency. The airport has a currency exchange branch and there is another exchange branch a 12min walk from the hotel.

We will have a better idea of the itinerary once we know for sure which guests are available when and for how long. I'm not really a fan of forcing folks to choose between a panel and a photo session, and we normally only have that kind of set up when the guest list is a large one...and guess what?!!

So we will try our best to keep it to a minimum, but yes, advance warning, it may well be the case that there are certain photo sessions going on while panels are happening.

As far as the auto session is concerned, that will take place on the Sunday afternoon once the panels have ended - though again if any guests are unable to attend on Sunday we will try to fit in an extra auto session if we can.

Thanks for the reassurance and plethora of information!!!

Mum got told..
I'm gonna volunteer for registration if possible, I wanna say hi to as many of you as possible  :) :)

Woohoo!! Registration is my favorite place to volunteer at conventions and it's usually where I end up except at a few of them. So here's to registration volunteers!!!!!!!

If we both go for it, maybe you can show me the ropes lol! No clue what to do lol!

You got it!!!!! 👍🏼 I always end up feeling at home when I help during registration. I used to help run registration for a Con with 40,000+ attendees, this past weekend I helped run registration for another Con with 4,000+ attendees.

Just got another ticket - this one for my sister.  I called her and mentioned that I was coming to this convention and she immediately decided she wanted to come too.  (I think the magic words were 'R****** D*** A*******)  ;D

Neither of us have ever been to Vancouver so this will definitely be fun.

Brilliant! Can't wait to see everyone...
I think RDA might have been everyone's magic words haha

Yeah I told a friend about it a few days ago and then spoke to her again this weekend and I think she and her b/f are getting tickets soon. For me personally it's a tie between Tapping and RDA.

I met AT in April and RDA in July and they are both lovely and I can't wait to meet both of them again!
Looking forward to meeting Teryl, David and Peter as well though, those two seem like they are a hoot at conventions

I met AT in April too! It was in the states and it was the best thing ever and I'll never forget meeting her for the first time! I still remember the day perfectly despite me being a complete BASKET-CASE that day.

Awesome. :-) so looking forward to this event.

Hello fellow row C attendees!!! I'm occupying seat C24!!

Hi, hi, hi.... It's a 'sea' of 'Cs' ...
Making myself laugh at my stoooopidness now!

Hahaha not stoooooooopidness in any how or way! I've been playing over and over with different ways to laugh about my "C" seat! Like, "I'm the 24th in this C of gaggles!"

Local Amenities / Re: Chronos?
« on: October 12, 2015, 04:52:21 PM »
Anybody know of Chronos Restaurant across the street is still there?  Also, what modestly prices restaurants are in the area (Swiss Chalet, Denny's, Red Robin) or fast food ( Tim Hortons, burgers)?

Internet search says it's closed: http://www.yelp.com/biz/cronos-pizza-richmond

I was in the area earlier this year dropping a friend at the airport and we were going to eat there but they were all boarded up and closed.
