It's looking like quite a few of us haven't been able to attend an official "Gatecon" for a few reasons so this will be awesome!! I haven't either though I did FINALLY make it to SGCHI in August.

I love love volunteering at conventions, especially if it's a new convention to me cause then I get to meet more people. I always feel like I get more out of going to a con and volunteering than if I'm just attending. Volunteering I think you get to connect right from the get go and you have that core group that sticks with you throughout time!

I love that Gatecon is thinking of all the different types of funding availability for attendees! Not everyone can put things on credit cards or just pay it right away! This is much appreciated! Can't wait for the tour though!

Can't wait to volunteer! I've volunteered at almost every Con I've gone to except 2 and that was because they either A.) used and abused their volunteers B.) they only had 1 option for volunteering and that was ALL weekend ALL the time.

I usually go to anywhere between 7 and 10 Cons/Expos every year and always feel SUPER weird if I don't volunteer at them in some way or another.

Hi I'm Yahanna!! I sorta went to Gatecon in Vancouver way back when but now I'm coming to attend for real this time and fully experience it start to finish, inside and out, top to bottom! I'm from Seattle and am totally addicted to Vancouver. I'm super excited that Gatecon is coming back to Vancouver cause I've been crossing my fingtoes that it would!
