The exchange rate is .77 US for $1 Can so it's worth your while to get the currency exchanged.   Ask at the hotel if there is a bank that does not charge an extra fee; some charge it, some waive the fee.   If you have time before you go a lot of the Auto Clubs have currency exchange.

Are the volunteer assignments still going out?  Received the general email  a few days ago saying we would be receiving them but still have not gotten info on my assignment.

Congratulations to the authors!  It will be such a thrill to see your creations in print.

The submission guidelines told us to leave margin space for notes.  Will we be getting our submissions back with comments from the judges so we can learn what to do better the next time?

What address do we send pictures of our entry and is the deadline still July 31st or is it earlier?   I'll be taking my project to the printer tomorrow to get it printed into a poster; not sure how much time they will need for printing.

Can I assume that the magazine cover competition is officially dead?  If so, can I enter a 2nd entry into the art competition?  I already have an entry, but would like to get what I was planning for the cover competition printed into a poster and enter it.

Thank you so much.  I finally got my story ready to submit and then I started worrying about the dashes.  Very relieved that nothing in my story will need them and I don't have to worry.

Have a question about the formatting.  Under what circumstances would you use n dashes in the middle of sentences?  How would those differ from interrupted dialog?

Should we have received a confirmation for the cruise to be printed separately from our main ticket?  My members area says the cruise had been added to my ticket but there is nothing there to print out for the cruise and I have not received an email confirming the cruise.
