Ok. Judging by the amount of views for this page I will get the ball rolling for the Pre Con Get Together.

This is just a dinner for anyone who wants to attend, to say hi and meet some people before Gatecon officially kicks off. So if you want to come, just let me know and i will add you to the list.
(Limit of 40 people).

Price: You pay for what you order. They have menu costs ranging from approx. $15 and up. 😆

So Hello ALL!

Names Nikki, I'm 27 and have loved Stargate for as long as I knew it was around.... I live in Florida in the USA and it is hot, hot, hot....

This will be my first convention ever and my first Stargate event I go to, *Gasp* I know that rock I lived under finally got picked up and moved lol... I love to draw, write, and enjoy traveling....

Ummm lets see I am a HUGE Amanda Tapping fan and cannot wait to see her I like Mortal Kombat and The Sims games, I do awesome Halloween costumes/makeup on myself every year, and I am super excited to visit Canada for the first time!

Also I got the Golden Ticket ;P, Also my Girlfriend and her son will be with me to see Vancouver but will be passing on the convention itself so looking to meet new friends and have a good time as well!

Message me with any cool tips, pointers, or info you think I might like... Look out for this rookie y'all!

Welcome to the group. I am coming from Australia and later on I will be organising a dinner for all that want to come and say hi. This is not an official Gatecon dinner, just some of us getting together to meet each other. You will be welcome to join. 😄

Just wanted to put it out there, that all the guests are "Major players" in my book and every time you categorize them, you are insulting actors in supporting roles that by any standard are just as good as the actors cast in the lead roles. They all make the series what it was and still is today! Yes! This fan would like to see some more of the Atlantis crew, but it is understandable that not all could be invited. Maybe they will be next time! I like the diversity of guests that Gatecon brings, and the closeness of the Gatecon family.

To put it short and sweet - I like Gatecon just the way you are! 😄

Hi everyone, Sharon here from UK, near Liverpool.

Gate con: first was Gatecon Uk in Cheltenham back in 2006 (although no my fiirst con, that was in 2002).
Second Gatecon was 2008 Sheraton Wall centre, then 2010 and 2016. I'm generally found printing photos  at the con.

Through star gate I feel in love with Vancouver, BC and Canada.

See you all at Gatecon 2018.

Coffee anyone?

Count me in! You can have the coffee! Tea for me. There is a nice Irish pub down the road as well for meals etc. 😉

I also love the Gatecon events, and whoever attends as a guest or fan.

I just wanted to add that any guest who accepts the invitation to attend, does so with the intention of attending. That said, if they then obtain work, then that takes precedence. They work in an industry that has highs and lows. They can't afford to turn down work!

I look forward to seeing everyone in 2018.

I'm from Chicago area and this meteorological summer has been hot, humid with many thunderstorms and flooding. I'll definitely not mind a bit of autumn-like weather.

It can rain the whole con weekend, except for Thursday between 11-4:30 pm.

Hey, spare a thought for us poor buggers that still have to cross the road to get there!! 😆😆😆
