Hi all!

I'm driving up from Seattle on Thursday evening, the 13th and was a little confused about whether there was an official meetup that evening. Also I'm not sure when the opening ceremonies are the next day!

I won't know a soul there, and would love to make some buddies for the weekend! Anyone want to meet for cocktails or something that night? Hotel bar? Do you locals know of a good spot? You can PM me here, or hit me up on instagram: jtl_hell

People will definitely be hanging out in the lobby till all hours of the night! I’m sure more people closer to Con will post asking if others want to connect for drinks or such. If you haven’t joined the FB group Gatecon Gategoers, I’d suggest doing so.

Hi everyone! I'm Jen, I'm 33 and I'm from Seattle. I didn't get into Stargate until about 6 years ago, but I've been obsessed with SG-1 ever since. I cosplay as O'Neill at every con I go to. This is my first Gatecon, but definitely not my first con! Just my first Stargate-centered one. I am so excited! I'll be driving up and staying at a hotel in Langley. Nice to meet everyone!!

I won't be paid in time to give a donation to the kickstarter campaign, it won't let me do it !

Hehe I hope it was a good holiday though.

No worries about the Kikcstarter but you can still help by reposting it everywhere and mentioning it in any other groups you are on that might be interested.

We've added $2000 to the total since yesterday so fingers crossed.

It was a very wet holiday LOL!!
I get paid on Friday, so fingers crossed I can give something towards it, hoping the time zone is US and not UK haha as it sounds totally awesome!
And that is brilliant, Go TEAM!!

Found this on the kick starter after I made my donation so I thought I'd post it here. Looks like it's US time zone so you're all good to donate

Those things are SO ANNOYING!!!!

Haha they are pretty annoying - and must spoil the fun of trying to fit everyone  in the shot...down a bit, up a bit lol

They really only annoy the Jaffa Cree out of me when I'm at a convention with 10,000+ attendees and I'm trying to move people along so the fire marshal doesn't shut us down, lol! But yeah you do miss out kinda on the move left, no move right, oh dang I cut that persons head off haha! But I do see the benefit from time to time.
