Looks like I'll be getting there in time to attend.  Can you add me to the waitlist?

Hello, Virginia.

Any room (or a waiting list) for Saturday morning?  I've been working 60-70 hours a week under crazy stress.  Your session sounds heavenly.

@jchu100, I'm certain hippies encompassed all ethnicities!  :-)

I've also noticed all those hippie outfits look great on those long-legged people, but I'm really short too, so there's just no way to win.  Oddly, I'd feel more comfortable toting a P-90 in full military garb.  Nevertheless, I'm going to do my darndest to dress up and look just as ridiculous as I can and forget my age.  After all, no one I know will be there!  LOL

Oh, wow… those pants!  The 60's / 70's certainly weren't very good times for introverts I guess.   :-)

Thanks, Fryn.

This costume thing is stressing me out.  I'm really incompetent at this kind of stuff, but from my ren faire experience, I know it's always more fun to dress up.  Since I'm getting a little older, I really don't want to have to wear some kind of go-go dress, but the only women's bell bottoms I find online are denim, which seem wrong for a "banquet".  I don't sew, so I'd be buying something.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I'm not wanting to go all out to enter a competition, just wanting to join in on the fun.

Gategoers at The Homecoming / Re: Meet-A-Gater

I'm Amy and I'm coming up from south of Seattle (Olympia area).  I'm 48 and this will be my first Stargate con (though I watched it lovingly from day one).  Looking forward to meeting other people who love Stargate!

I'm debating whether I should drive up to Vancouver or take the train.  I like having my freedom (especially to run pick up vegan food), but I've heard the train ride is really enjoyable.  Any suggestions from locals or experienced gaters?
