Cosplay photographer?
« on: August 19, 2016, 06:37:33 PM »
Just curious, will there be anyone attending who would be able/willing to take some cosplay photos? The only ones I have of myself I took with a selfie stick and a timer, and I'd love to have some better looking shots. Just wanted to ask and see if anyone attending is planning on doing anything like that. Thanks :)

20 DAYS!!!!

I'm sure that there quite a few of us who will be more than happy to take pictures...

I'll have my camera too.  I'm in B31 so if you stop by and say "HI" I'll make sure I try to get some photos of you.

I'll be bringing my SLR camera, want to get some nice shots of RDA and I'd be happy to take some photos of you. I love seeing all the great costumes people create.  :)

Krisz was the person I was thinking about for taking your picture. She is very good with her amateur photography. 😆

That's very kind of you to say, I was looking at the photos I took at the Gatecons of 2008 and 2010, aah the memories. My camera died on me in 2008, it was a simple point and shoot camera and the lens didn't fix itself properly so all of them were blurred except for five of them, so never got any of RDA, this time I won't be denied lol!!! That's when I went out and bought my SLR with a telephoto lens, determined that I could take photos from where ever I sat and got some great photos in 2010.

Ah, yes... purchasing upgraded photo equipment for fan-related events. =)  I've been there.

My SLR was broken in 2008, and I only had my point-and-shoot digital.  =(  I got quite a lot of photos for working the con the whole weekend tho. *g*
