The Sheraton is unable to accommodate further reservations for the convention but have arranged for an overflow block at the neighbouring hotels. Below is the information your will need to book a room for Gatecon:

Just to update, according to Starwood hotels, the Richmond Sheraton airport hotel is full from Sept 7-12. No rooms available which include the club rooms. This means the percentage of rooms set aside for regular travelers have been reserved.

There was one club room open for one night.. Sept 7 and check out Sept 8 and that was it. There was an announcement at the top of the webpage that said "there are no rooms available Sept 7-12"

Might be a dumb question, but wanted to make sure. If we are looking for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel during normal hours, do we go to the designated pick-up area in the arrivals area and look for one with Sheraton emblazoned on it? Do they do runs continuously back and forth throughout the day?

I'm in the ramada, just nearby. Was a lot cheaper than the others.

Outside the arrivals area/baggage claim, there will be shuttles and cabs pulling up.  The one for the con hotel should be Sheraton Richmond.  And you can ask the driver to make sure you're going where you need to go - they're pretty friendly. =)
