I'm driving up Seattle also, but Thursday morning, we should definitely meet up over the weekend!
Hi all!
I'm driving up from Seattle on Thursday evening, the 13th and was a little confused about whether there was an official meetup that evening. Also I'm not sure when the opening ceremonies are the next day!
I won't know a soul there, and would love to make some buddies for the weekend! Anyone want to meet for cocktails or something that night? Hotel bar? Do you locals know of a good spot? You can PM me here, or hit me up on instagram: jtl_hell

« on: May 30, 2016, 06:31:33 PM »Hi, I'm Sandie. I will be coming from south of Seattle. I love to fly so, although it takes longer to drive to the airport than fly to Vancouver, I will be flying in. Because of RDA I attended my first con, Emerald City Comicon 2014. Even though Stargate is special to my heart I am into all kinds of scifi-fantasy. This will be my first Gatecon and visiting Vancouver is on my bucket list. I know I will have an immense amount of fun
RDA at ECCC 2014 was just the best. I literally screamed and cried when I found out he was attending because I never thought I'd get to meet him. But I did, in my O'Neill cosplay, which he loved. He was so nice and thoughtful and I am so happy to get to meet him again! I'm in Shoreline and driving up since I have an enhanced ID but not a passport, even though I'd totally fly if I did as I love flying too

« on: February 26, 2016, 11:39:47 PM »We have started getting prices back in so will add them to the info pages....loathe to use the word "soon" again, but yes they will be posted when finalised. The first list may not encompass all the gusts but at least it will give you something to go on.
Soon is better than nothing!
