Now that I'm putting together my packing list, I'm trying to decide if I should wear my O'Neill cosplay to the banquet or wear plain clothes. Trying to choose which days to wear the costume is hurting my brain!

yea... I know. i don't have a 60's costume, that's why the dilemma. I want to get as much use out of my SG-1 attire as possible, but I also don't want to overheat.

Ahhh! Penny drops! It has been pretty warm here. Pretty warm for Vancouver that is! This is a decision that only one person can make! Good luck! 😊

XJENNERSOX.....bought everything for my 60's outfit at Value Village and Goodwill.   Think I spent a total of $30.00 for both, including a hat and wig.

Thanks but I don't really have any interest in getting a 60's outfit and don't have any money to spare at this point!

I was in highschool in the 60's!!! No costume necessary. I'm authentic, eh?

Due to a lack of planning on my part (actually I lost track of time and kept telling myself I had plenty of time), the only vangroovy outfit I was able to come up with on time was a tie dye shirt, bell bottom jeans (sort of), and a headband, but I forgot sandals/60s footwear. Is there any place within walking distance or short taxi ride from the hotel where I could get some 60s looking footwear and 60s accessories?

Thanks.

Me too, but I cannot find anything in my closet, its all gone (plus those clothes wouldn't fit anyway because the longer they stay in my closet the more they shrink!)

There's a shopping mall literally down the street from the hotel.  I don't know that they have 60's specific footwear, but you can give it a shot.
