Hi Janet & Jonesy
I, too, will be flying from Gatwick with West Jet on the 7th.  My elderly aunt will be travelling with me and we are also flying economy.  Only 54?  We're two older ladies, avid Stargate fans and big kids really!  May be we'll "bump" into the two of you during the flight.  I'm sure there must be more Gatecon attendees travelling on the same flight - might be enough to form our own inflight convention?!!!

We're both so looking forward to our Gatecon experience - happy travelling!

I will be entering both costume competitions (hopefully!!) - my suitcase is going to be groaning!  But not sure whether my 82 yr old aunt (who's coming too) is up for the competition itself.  However, we will both be wearing hippie gear during the event - just loved the 1960's!

Further to my previous post and the initial disappointment on hearing that tickets were "sold out", I decided to go back to the website last night and was amazed to see the ticket link was working and I quickly went through the process and finally - after a lot of stress - got two tickets!!!  YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!  Later had problems checking my Paypal account to double check payment had gone through, but they were having problems with their website too!  Finally got confirmation emails from those great guys at Gatecon that my order had been paid for and we've got the two tickets.  My aunt and I are over the moon at being able to get the tickets and are sooooooooo looking forward to the event!!!
So keep trying people, it's worth it!!!!
Look forward to seeing everyone there next September!!!!!

How come all the tickets have been sold??
I've been trying to get through since 5pm via the Store and other buttons on the home page without any luck - only just tried via the forum now.
Any chance of being put on a standby list now please??
