It told me I had a ticket reserved then wouldn't let me pay, now it says sold out. What does that mean for me?

Good morning! Our group of four just bought tickets to Gatecon. Hurrah! The person who made the purchase has a time-stamped electronic receipt from PayPal acknowledging we paid Gatecon. However, the Gatecon site kicked her out after that. Are we ok?

I booked my tickets with Paypal.

I've the confirmation from Paypal.

I hope it's ok with Gatecon, because the page isn't clear...

I understand, if all tickets are purchase in25 minutes!! Incredible!! But I'm afraid!

Got tickets for our group of 5 - Glad I got nervous and jumped right out of the gate!
I mean, I and my friends know how amazing this is, but you never know how much "pull" there is outside your own echo chambers.
Glad to see the 'Gate is up and running, and I can't wait to see who makes it out!

is there any chance you will sell some more tickets?

Or is there anywhere a ticket waiting list to get on? In case someone is not able to go to the con and wants to sell their ticket, is there a thread, forum, list where people like me can inquire for ticket sales? I really want to go to Gatecon.

How come all the tickets have been sold??
I've been trying to get through since 5pm via the Store and other buttons on the home page without any luck - only just tried via the forum now.
Any chance of being put on a standby list now please??

There was a counter at the top of the page when you click on 'Buy Tickets Here', but I think it's gone now.  I'm guessing there were some gremlins in the system and they've been banished. =)

Hopefully everybody here was able to secure themselves a ticket. I'm looking forward to my first Gatecon and I hope there will be more to look forward to in the future.

CHANGE OF STATEMENT: GOT MY TICKET!!!!!! Yeah,  the world is wonderful again! Oh my God, still such a long time to wait until we can have this super exciting weekend with our Stargate stars! Can't wait and I am really invigorated and like to meet new people from all over the world.  The gate will bring us together!!
