Further to my previous post and the initial disappointment on hearing that tickets were "sold out", I decided to go back to the website last night and was amazed to see the ticket link was working and I quickly went through the process and finally - after a lot of stress - got two tickets!!!  YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!  Later had problems checking my Paypal account to double check payment had gone through, but they were having problems with their website too!  Finally got confirmation emails from those great guys at Gatecon that my order had been paid for and we've got the two tickets.  My aunt and I are over the moon at being able to get the tickets and are sooooooooo looking forward to the event!!!
So keep trying people, it's worth it!!!!
Look forward to seeing everyone there next September!!!!!

I think I read that they are sorting out the seating confirmation and then we get an e-mail confirmation :)!

I think I read that they are sorting out the seating confirmation and then we get an e-mail confirmation :)!

Exactly right. If you have had a Paypal receipt then your tickets are secure. The seating assignment will be coming from us in the next couple of days

(but yes Carol, we got yours ok)

After getting a completely brown screen for over an hour with nothing happening and sitting by an increasingly grumpy mate who thought she wasn't going to the convention as well as her beloved Manchester United loosing badly to Jaffa Creenal things suddenly cleared and we were able to pay for the tickets.  This was followed by a wonderful concert and an evening with Cliff mates in Manchester then home to ring the credit card company today to triple check that payment had been made.  Now to save to pay for the rest of the trip!!!

Thank you Richard and staff for the reassurrances and the guidance received.

I received an email from Paypal saying there had been fraudulent activity on my account, and they reversed my payment for my ticket. Who do I need to contact at Gatecon to sort this out?

Just an idea... Contact PayPal directly. Not saying that this is like your case, but I seemingly get those from PayPal all the time, and every time I call it's not from them. Just an idea! I hope that you're able to get it sorted out!

I didn't mean to Quote, but In reference to Richard's last post, I never even received A confirmation that my order was received.  Should I have at least have gotten that while awaiting THE confirmation?
