Film location tour - main ticket required?

To go on the film location tour, is a ticket to the main convention required?

Due to work commitments, may not be able to attend, but I could go on the film location tour possibly.

The location tour is typically an 'add on' to the convention, so the purchase of a convention ticket will likely be required.
