We have now sent out Platinum ticket draw numbers to everyone who has responded. If you are part of a group the email will have gone to the person who wrote in. If you or your group hasn't had an email containing your number it means we have not received your email and you need to contact us again. Applications to join the draw close at 12.00 mid day GMT on Wednesday 23rd August. Good luck to everyone taking part!

PLATINUM TICKETS

We have been taken aback by the number of people eager to buy Platinum tickets and the last thing we want to do is cause disappointment. Clearly, though, given the numbers, that will happen with some of you, even taking into account the decision we have made. We would have loved to be able to accommodate everyone but there are certain constraints that are beyond our control. With that in mind we have decided to open not one but TWO rows to Platinum tickets, meaning we can offer quite a few more places.

We will still offer the same perks and will keep the ratio of winning the Green Room draw at the same level by increasing the number of places available, so as not to devalue the  whole experience. It WILL, however double your chances of being one of the lucky people who will be able to buy a Platinum ticket. This does mean, though, that Gold tickets will start in row 3 and not row 2 as previously stated. Still very close to the stage.

As I said at the start, there will be still be some who will be disappointed but hopefully this will alleviate that for most of you.

The ticket draw numbers will decide your seat number as you will be assigned a seat according to the order of the number sequence to be drawn by, we hope, Erick Avari. If you miss out on a Platinum ticket you will be put on a waiting list (still in the order picked by Erick) in case anyone ahead of you doesn't proceed with their purchase. You will then be able to upgrade if you wish.

Also, since it is getting close to purchase date, will you be putting up a seating chart to show how many rows are gold, silver, and copper so we have time to consider?

Fryn had to remind me that Gold, Silver, and Copper seats are all unassigned.

I know, but I'd like to know whether Gold is rows 3-5 or 3-10.

This is subject to alterations as we may need to accommodate wheelchairs etc, which could mean the rows tweaking slightly.

We have been taking your various comments and feedback regarding seating on board.

We have those that want assigned seats and those that don't. So to try and keep the middle ground we have decided to try something different and assign seating by rows.
So you will be assigned a row and not a seat, giving you the freedom to choose a seat within that row. Platinum ticket holders will have assigned seats as before.

This is also a compromise from us as it is very labour intensive putting individual labels on chairs each time the room layout changes.

Your row will be assigned in the order your ticket is reserved rather than when payment has been made. This makes it fairer as it gives those that opt for payment plans the same chance as everyone else.

If we want to sit together (in the same row), that means our tickets will need to be ordered together, right?

If so, is there a limit on how many tickets can be purchased in one transaction? Can one person buy 4 x GOLD tickets in one transaction for themselves and 3 friends?

And with the banquet tickets, in the one transaction can the person order 4 convention tickets and 4 banquet tickets? Or do you have to purchase banquet tickets separately to the con tickets?

Sorry for all the questions. We just want to make sure the person who is purchasing on our behalf knows what they need to do.

no due to once-a-month payment schedule which isn't the 1st of the month. At least I qualify for the platinum drawing.

I'm confused, isn't there a payment plan for any level?  So if you could afford Platinum on the payment plan you should be able to afford any other level on the payment plan.  Why go for Platinum if you can't afford it?  Not trying to be rude but I honestly don't understand.
