*waves* Hi, I'm Cassie - the cripple that Natalie mentioned a page back or so. Flying in from England because I'm completly and utterly insane but we kind of live for Shenanigans. Life is short and I never want to wake up one day and go 'Oh, I wish I'd done...'

Like Natalie said, you won't miss us - I'm the short English one that will look incredibly lost and doesn't know what her right leg is doing, has a habit of falling into people and tripping over the floor... Yup, thats me! :D

Hi Cassie!!!

I'm Marta, flying from Italy (if we're lucky enough we may end up on the same plane XD) for the same reason, I'm not sitting this one out!!!

I really hope to have the chance to meet you!!!

Hi I'm Nelleke but most call me Nell.  I'm a Dutchie (from the Netherlands not Germany although I do speak German)
I've attended most Gatecons, have volunteered at all to them as one of Robbins Jaffa and hope to do this again. It's always great fun to do.

I am currently rewatching SG as one of my passions is making costumes. And I'm looking for an interessting costume to make for next year. Will be hard, if not imposible as I've done my most favorite costumes already.

Anyway, SSOOOOOOO looking forward to this. It's been to long since I went to (any) convention and I miss it!

Unfortunately I tend to fall into the wrong - or maybe right depending on how you look at it - person. Went to a Buffy/Angel convention one time and lost track of the number of times I nearly tripped into Christian Kane!
And I once ran Misha Collins over with my wheelchair at a Supernatural convention
:-[

Hi everyone, I'm Gemma from England...Essex specifically so I'm sure people will spot me as my accent (I'm told) is pretty strong. I've done a lot of conventions in the UK in the last 11 years, and volunteered / worked the majority of them doing everything from queues, q&a and guest liaison until due to personal reasons i fell out of the con circuit for a little while. But I missed cons so much that I started going again 2 years ago to see old friends.

I've been to two Gatecons (2005 & 2006) and made so many friends and so many wonderful memories...those cons are still the best times I ever had! And me and my now lifelong friends still talk about those times! I also completely fell in love with Vancouver and have visited twice since, as well as apply for a VISA....I will happily be landing in Vancouver in May 2016 to start my new life in Canada. I am just hoping I am somewhat settled (and not completely poor) by September.

Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

Gem xo

Hi I'm Jamie and I'm from Lancaster, Pennsylvania! This will be my first Gatecon and only my second Stargate convention. I usually stick with Star Wars Celebration but this past spring I stumbled across conventions for Stargate, so here I am. I will be going solo but hopefully I will get to meet up with a few people I met in Chicago this past August, and I'm sure I will make some new friends.

I can't wait til next year! I have never been to Vancouver and am hoping and can add a day or two to see some of the sights. My job just gave me the okay to take the time off now I just need to save, save, save.
