I am so looking forward to this event, catching up with friends and making new ones. I have found that sitting next to a stranger at the beginning of a con, ends up being a friend by the end of it. Lining up for photos and autographs has the same effect too.
Don't be bummed because you may be sitting next to a stranger, it may be me! Smile and say hello, I assure you that I will say hello back. ☺
Unless your seat falls in the middle of a group of friends, someone will be sitting next to a stranger. I like your positive outlook on this whole seating drama. Hopefully we all don't bite and use a bit personal hygiene in the morning to the make the experience that much better for everyone.
Also, I'm not partial to where my seat is. Closer is always good, but I'll honestly be happy with a seat/ticket anywhere. Better than being customer 1001 logging in to purchase.
